Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials

Standardised Outcomes in Nephrology - Glomerulonephritis (SONG-GN): determining a core set of outcomes for glomerulonephritis

General Information

SONG-GN will provide a consensus-based set of core outcomes for glomerulonephritis trials that aligns with the shared priorities of patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and policy makers. SONG-GN will improve the validity, transparency, usability and contribution of research relevant to patients with glomerulonephritis. It aims to ensure that outcomes of relevance to all stakeholders are consistently reported across trials which will minimise reporting bias and increase comparability between interventions. Ultimately, patients and clinicians will be able to make better informed decisions about treatment, and researchers and policy makers will be able maximise the value of research and healthcare to the public.
