Dear colleagues,
Following the COVID-19 global outbreak earlier this year, COMET has been monitoring the evolving situation and guidance with regard to the forthcoming meeting due to take place in Liverpool on the 8th-9th October 2020.
The COMET Management Group has made the decision to postpone COMET VIII until it is safe to go ahead with the meeting. A new date for this meeting will be confirmed as soon as it is possible to do so.
As a new date is yet to be confirmed, all registrations have been cancelled and we will let you know as soon as we have re-opened registration for the rearranged meeting.
We are currently planning for a free series of webinars that will start in October 2020. We are pleased to announce our COMET VIII keynote speaker, Hywel Williams, will kick off this exciting series. Hywel is the Director of the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme, and Professor of Dermato-Epidemiology and Co-Director, Centre of Evidence-Based Dermatology, Queen’s Medical Centre Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Additional information will be announced shortly.
