Tension-type headache (TTH) is the most common primary headache in the clinic. Although most of the studies on TCM treatment of TTH have confirmed the clinical efficacy of various TCM and acupuncture intervention methods, there are many problems in TCM clinical studies of TTH, such as inconsistency in reporting indicators, measurement tools, and efficacy criteria, etc., which prevents study results from being included in systematic evaluation or meta-analysis, and high-level evidence cannot be provided. Therefore, the establishment of the corresponding core outcome set (COS) is helpful to solve the above problems to a certain extent. The purpose of this project is to construct the core outcome index set of acupuncture in the treatment of tension-type headache, to provide a scientific reference for the selection of outcome indicators for subsequent clinical studies, to improve the quality of clinical research.
