Research aims:
1. To develop a clinical severity scoring instrument, for use in infants less than twelve months of age with acute bronchiolitis, by any type or level of health care professional, in a range of clinical environments.
2. To assess the developed instrument for content, construct and criterion validity.
3. To assess the developed instrument for inter-rater and test-re-test reliability.
4. To develop and validate an instrument, ready to test its responsiveness to conditional changes, in a future study.
